A walk on the slopes of the Rhaetian Alps, offering a splendid view of the Dolomites<\/strong>. This hike<\/strong> is marked by crosses<\/em> on the map; it is in fact a secured path, the first step towards the via ferrata<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

It is an exposed ridge path that does not present any particular technical difficulties but requires a basic level of mountaineering ability.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The departure point is the Pradalago cable car station, near our hotel<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The start of the trail is located just behind the top station of the Pradalago cable car<\/strong>, near the Hotel Touring<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first few metres are on compacted earth and wind their way along the mountain\u2019s saddle, following gentle hairpin bends; although the route is exposed in this initial section, it does not present any particular danger.<\/p>\n

However, the climb is noticeable: starting at an altitude of 2,110 metres<\/strong>, it ends at the summit of the peak at an altitude of 2,427<\/strong> metres<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

An easy climb, a superb view<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The climb is steady over easy terrain; the only difficulties are a ladder on a granite slab and a few safety ropes near some gullies that run directly down from the summit to Lake Nambino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The view is superb and incredibly varied: from the small clearing on the summit, you can admire the Brenta Dolomites<\/strong> for tens of kilometres, from Sasso Rosso to the summit of Valon.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The hike ends at a small clearing with the Italian flag flying in the centre, at an altitude of 2,427 metres above sea level. At the base of the flagpole is a metal box containing the summit logbook<\/em>, in which hikers can record their experiences in the mountains of Trentino<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can return by completing the loop via the Giro Dei Tre Laghi<\/strong>, but this time we recommend retracing your steps for a few metres and turning left towards Lake Pradalago<\/strong>.
